Beijing, July 4 (TMTPOST) – Chinese telecom and smartphone giant Huawei launched its Nova 10 Series smartphones, Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro, at its Summer Launch Conference held on Monday in Shenzhen.

The series starts from 2,699 yuan and the pre-ordering begins on July 4, the company announced at the launch conference.

Huawei’s Nova 10 Series runs on the company’s inhouse operating system HarmonyOS, supporting features such as fast download, fast share, fast scan, smart pay and NFC. Nova 10 Series also supports 3D precision indoor navigation. The smartphone model is also said to provide full protection of user privacy.

Both Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro are equipped with a 120Hz OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC and 60MP selfie cameras.

Huawei Nova 10 has a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The nova 10 Pro model has a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel with the same resolution and refresh rate. The Pro model also adds a second selfie camera upfront, an 8MP portrait lens.

Both Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro are equipped with a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide module with an f/2.2 aperture. The third sensor is a 2MP depth of field module.

Huawei Nova 10 boasts a 4,000 mAh battery with 66W wired charging support while Nova 10 Pro packs a larger 4,500 mAh cell with 100W wired charging.

Both Huawei Nova 10 models come in Black, Silver, Green and Violet colors. Huawei nova 10 starts at 2,699 yuan for the 128GB version while the 256GB model goes for 2,999 yuan Huawei Nova 10 Pro starts at 3,699 yuan for the 128GB version and goes up to 3,999 yuan for the 256GB model.

As of June 2022, there were over 200 million Nova series smartphone users across the globe, according to He Gang, the Chief Operation Officer of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group.
